The logo spells out RATIO, with a slight tilt to the ‘I’ which comes from the forward slash (/) that represents a ratio. The brand identity has a playful attitude, while still using precise angles and proportions to depict the experimental yet specific nature of the studio. It uses the line and dots of the ratio mathematical sign as symbols that show up everywhere in a set. The rough, yet not-so-rough illustrations of the line and dots are an extension of the studio’s personality. I play with the division of the pages into different ratios as a nod to the brand name. I show different ratios of fun & series, and artsy & mathematical.
